Canton Hot Rod & Custom Bike Show Canton, Ohio
« on: January 27, 2011, 06:21:51 pm »
This weekend at The Canton Hot Rod And Custom Bike Show there will be an unveiling so to speak.

The GLNFCC was to have the Red Baron Mustang II on display but due to an employment assignment Butch Chovan had to back out last Friday.

Terry Wright alias vette fc on the board will have his Against The Wind 78 Corvette on display for the very first time. Terry has been working hard this week to get the car show ready and even was able to get some of the lettereing done.

This car has been a long time in the making and it is great to see Terry finally get this project out of the garage. Next step on the track.

So all of youse that are close come on out this weekend and check out Terrys Corvette and all other sorts of cool cars.

I almost forgot Bo Duke will be there too.

I wish I was closer. I'd like to check out Terry's Vette in person. I sure looks good in the photos and I bet it's even better up close.
Have fun and enjoy guys and be careful traveling!!

Terry will have a great time.  We would love to go to Canton but unfortunately, we already have plans on Saturday.
It was good to see GLNFCC Director Denny along with Mike and Klontz at the Pittsburgh World of Wheels show where Lance and Kerri Good had their '79 Omni and we had
our Corvette on display.

We are having a great time at the show. The kids are really enjoying getting their pictures taken in the car. One more day to go, come on down and see us.

Well I spent most of the weekend with Terry at The show and there was a great crowd. Terry was putting every little kid he could grab in the car. We gave out almost 200 schedules and talked with Jim Curtis from Thompson and Norm Fox the new owner of Quaker City.

If the response was any indication we should have good attendance this year at our shows.

Terry seems like an old pro at the show.

Thank you John. We had a great time, even got a trophy for 2nd place in the race car class. Was beat by a front engine dragster show car. A lot of the people asked a lot of questions, Sounds like some will be at the race track this year. Thank you Denny for letting us do this.
